Liberty Fest Activities Planned
Disney Tea Party set for June 24
The Liberty Festival’s 4th Annual Mother/Daughter Tea Party will take placed on Sunday afternoon, June 24, from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m., at the Fellowship Hall of Coleman United Methodist Church on North Military Avenue.
This year’s theme is “Disney Dress Up,” in a salute to America’s number one amusement company, and California legend, Walt Disney. This year’s event is co-sponsored by the Lawrenceburg Beautification Board and Crockett Kids Pediatrics.
Each little lady will have the option of “walking the read carpet” in their Disney costume, “star” costume, or in their Sunday best. Moms and Grandmas may also dress in costumes or Sunday best. A special visit Disney visit is also planned.
Golf Fashion Show scheduled for June 23
Show to benefit God’s Storehouse
The Lawrenceburg Ladies Golf League will host a special fashion show – “Tea & Tailor Made,” in conjunction with this year’s Liberty Fest on June 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Christian Life Center All profits from this event will go to God’s Store in memory of Denise Wilson.

What could be more American or more Hollywood than Disney? Members of the Lawrenceburg Beautification Board announce this year’s Libertyfest Parade will center around a Disney theme.
The Sixth Annual Libertyfest Parade will get underway at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30. Donna Douglas, of Beverly Hillbillies fame, will serve as Grand Marshall.
Parade entries are still being accepted. A children’s portion of the parade will feature decorated bicycles, toy wagons, etc. Cash prizes will be awarded in both categories to “best decorated,” and “best Disney costume.”
There is no entry fee for the parade, however every vehicle is required to be decorated either in either a patriotic or this year’s theme, “You can be a Star.”
